Members of the Referees Committee participated in a meeting with Heydayat Mombeni-Secretary General to discuss the current status of the committee.
Danial Moradi - Director of the Referees Department, initially provided an overview of the actions taken in recent months. Members of the Referees Committee also commented on the existing issues and the special attention of the federation to the use of VAR in the upcoming Premier League season.
General Secretary, was informed about the procedures for conducting pre-season educational courses for the 2024/25 season, the selection process of referees and assistant referees, and the special focus on choosing refereeing observers. He emphasized his experience and the importance of adhering to the AFC and FIFA standards for match organization.

Moradi mentioned that referees have completed their training courses and are nearing the end of their video assistant referee (VAR) training. He stated: "We are in the final days of VAR assistant referee training, and according to the federation's promise, we will complete the process of obtaining the VAR license before the league starts, which is a significant achievement for our refereeing."
He continued: "From next Saturday, we will hold the refereeing observers' class at the Remis Hotel at Imam Khomeini Airport. Additionally, from August 6th to 9th, we will conduct the pre-season referees' class at the same hotel."
